Building with Russell Brooks is a no-brainer. You want a builder that just wants to build stuff. Russell is certainly that.

Before we even gave him the go-ahead, he was coming back with ideas to improve our modest plans. During the build, he was ludicrously involved in every detail. Hell, he even built our lovely staircase himself, despite having loads of good builders on his team.

The build itself was smooth. The variations were well-explained and reasonable. We weren’t unfairly penalised for changing our minds on materials, or measurements.

When everything was finished, I came up with a list of small things that needed finishing, and Russell came round and tripled the list with things I hadn’t noticed. Months later he was still ringing up and having a chat and seeing if things were still good.

Russell is the sort of builder who doesn’t want you ever to sell the house after he has built it. I have recommended Russell Brooks to friends, and will continue to recommend him as long as he wants me to!
